Paul uses 'the law' to refer to all of scripture, not just the Pentateuch
Mike argues that 'law' in Paul's usage can mean the Old Testament generally, citing 1 Corinthians 14:21.
In 1 Corinthians 14:21 -- the same chapter, just verses earlier -- Paul writes 'in the law it is written' and then quotes Isaiah 28:11-12. Isaiah is not part of the Pentateuch/Mosaic law, proving Paul uses 'the law' to refer to scripture in general. This usage is not unique to Paul: in John 12:34, the crowd says 'we have heard from the law that the Christ remains forever,' likely referencing Psalms, Isaiah, or Daniel -- none of which are in the Pentateuch.
