Paul's quotation-refutation style in known instances differs dramatically from 1 Corinthians 14

Mike compares how Paul actually does quotation-refutation elsewhere versus what is claimed here.

In every known instance where Paul quotes and refutes Corinthian ideas, he does so very differently: (1) He responds to the substance of the quotes, not with one word. (2) He spends more time responding than quoting. (3) He addresses the specific claims made. In 1 Corinthians 14, the refutation view requires Paul to spend more time quoting than responding (unique), not respond to most of what was said (unique), and use one word as his entire rebuttal (unique).
