D.A. Carson's structural analysis: verse 29 maps the two-part expansion

Carson writes: 'In verse 29 Paul turns to prophecy and writes: two or three prophets should speak, and the others should weigh carefully what is said. The two parts of this verse are then separately expanded upon. The first part (two or three prophets should speak) is treated in verses 30-33a, where constraints are imposed on the uttering of prophecies. The second part (and the others should weigh carefully what is said) is treated in verses 33b-36, where constraints are imposed on the evaluation of prophecies.'
