Egalitarian and patriarchal can refer to Christians or non-Christians (e.g., Muslims are patriarchal in an unbiblical way, atheists can be patriarchal). Complementarian is an explicitly Christian view, which distinguishes it from all other views. This is one reason Mike prefers the complementarian label.
