Analogy to overturned German scholarship on the Gospels and Greek myths

German scholarship once believed the Gospels were based on Greek myths rather than Jewish sources, partly due to cultural anti-Semitism creating scholarly blinders about the Jewishness of the Gospels. That school of thought was overturned. Mike suggests egalitarian scholarship is similarly based on wrong interpretations of history and language, and needs to change.
