Qualified submission — not unqualified 'just submit woman'

The teaching of scripture is qualified submission, not 'submission submission submission unqualified.' Error of many patriarchalists: thinking the man must show authority in just about every interaction. This leads to stress, strain, insecurity, anger, and can drive a wife away — 'you will become the angry lonely man.' Both have authority; the husband's is higher but doesn't negate the wife's. Even in conjugal relations, agreement is required, not forced will.
