Mike briefly points to 1 Timothy 2:12-13 where Paul says 'I do not permit a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man... for Adam was formed first, then Eve.' Paul seems to interpret Adam being made first as very relevant to the nature of the man-woman relationship. Mike notes egalitarians generally don't reference the NT when studying Genesis, which he considers a methodological flaw.
