JW claim: Jesus resurrected as spirit, not bodily

JWs claim Jesus was resurrected as a spirit being, not with a physical body. They cite 1 Corinthians 15:45 ('the last Adam became a life-giving spirit'), 1 Peter 3:18 ('put to death in the flesh, made alive in the spirit'), and John 14:19. If Jesus is now a spirit, he could only return invisibly. This is the fundamental claim underlying their 1914 doctrine.
