Proof text #1: John 2:19-21 and the destroyed temple

Jesus predicts 'destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up' (John 2:19). The 'temple' is his body. If God dissolved Jesus' body, then Jesus' prediction is unfulfilled—he didn't raise the body that was destroyed. The continuity of the body from death to resurrection is essential to the redemptive narrative.
