Smith misidentified Egyptian deities; the figures at the bottom are canopic jars, not gods with the names Smith assigned
Specific errors in Smith's interpretation of the facsimile
Mike explains what the figures at the bottom of the facsimile actually are: canopic jars. These were containers used in ancient Egyptian burial practice to store the internal organs of a deceased person (lungs, intestines, etc.) removed during mummification. They were meant to help the deceased navigate the afterlife. Smith assigned specific divine names to these figures (names that don't exist in Egyptian), when they are in fact standard funerary vessels. The names Smith gave them do not correspond to any known Egyptian deities.
