LDS Church's official position: understand the Book of Abraham through 'careful study of its teachings and by the witness of the Holy Spirit'

I Think I Have Proof That Mormonism Is Not True 00:24:27 – 00:25:02

The LDS Church's final response to the historical and Egyptological evidence

After conceding the papyri issues, the lds.org article concludes that 'the truth about the Book of Abraham' can only be known 'through careful study of its teachings' and 'the witness of the Holy Spirit.' Mike critiques this as a non-answer — an appeal to subjective spiritual experience that bypasses the falsified historical and textual evidence. He says he could not be a Mormon because of this failure of the historical evidence, which no amount of spiritual feeling can overcome.

@PeterNDecker @BrandonABourg @sister_slay If the King Follet was one of the things the LDS church was built on and now they reject it, why does the LDS not change their name? Why be confusing?
