Q&A: Can someone who made false prophecies be restored to vocational ministry after genuine repentance?

End of the World Predictions and Why They're Wrong 01:10:59 – 01:12:03

Question from Ryan Tanner.

Mike says yes, it depends on the depth of genuine repentance. True repentance — not just being caught but actually seeing the error — could make a former false prophet among the best people to guard against such errors in the future. Decision should be made by local church leadership who know the person well. Parallel drawn to Paul: he murdered Christians yet became the greatest missionary/apostle. Past serious failure does not automatically disqualify if there is genuine transformation.
