Closing exhortation: test all end-times claims by whether they come from clear Scripture or from Bible-to-symbol-to-math-formula chains; be ready rather than predict

End of the World Predictions and Why They're Wrong 01:16:16 – 01:18:17

Mike closes the Q&A and the entire session with a pastoral summary.

The litmus test for any end-times claim: 'Do I understand this through a clear teaching of Scripture, or is it vague — taking the Bible, converting it to symbolism, running that through a math formula, and arriving at a date that happens to center on you and your generation?' The alternative is simply to be ready: 'Be ready in season and out of season.' Preview of next week: Jesus's own expectation about the length of time until his return, as encoded in parables and apostolic writings.
