Godly maturity is marked by prioritizing responsibilities over desires
Expanding on Tip 2. Mike makes a theological claim about spiritual maturity.
Mike argues that spiritually mature Christians are 'way more concerned about their responsibilities than they are their desires — more interested in the things they ought to be doing rather than the things they want to be doing.' He uses Jesus as the supreme example: Jesus fulfilled responsibilities rather than doing what He felt like, and temptation itself was the pull toward desire over duty.
