Smith quotes Jesus saying 'As the father hath power in himself, even so hath the son power' and interprets this to mean the Father also died and was resurrected. Mike notes Smith combined two separate, non-adjacent phrases of Jesus, calling it poor hermeneutics. Smith then says anyone who disagrees 'does not believe the Bible' and challenges 'all the learning and wisdom... of earth and hell' to refute it.
