CoG claims Passover is the central truth of the Bible and the number-one command of God — without their Passover observance there is no salvation

The False Teachings and Lies of Joo-Cheol Kim (Pastor of the Church of God) 00:38:46 – 00:40:50

Kim's book page 135. Kim says most people don't know 'the central truth of the Bible' — which in his framework is the physical Passover observance, not the gospel of Christ.

Kim replaces Jesus as the essential thing with Passover ritual. The gospel content (Jesus's atoning death and resurrection, faith, forgiveness) is not presented as the central truth. Instead, performing the Passover in the CoG's specific manner is said to be required for eternal life. Kim also kept the specifics of their Passover ceremony secret; Mike had to speak with former members to learn what actually happens.
