Two core questions: (1) Who is Jesus? Is he the eternal, uncreated God in the flesh who died and literally rose again? (2) How am I saved? Is it by faith alone (Ephesians 2:8-9) or by ritual observance? 1 John's test — 'every spirit that confesses Jesus is Lord' — presupposes knowledge of the full biblical Jesus (Lord = eternal God, atoning death, bodily resurrection). Kim's book ignores both questions entirely. These two issues serve as a reliable filter for detecting false teaching.
