Priscilla's teaching was doctrinal but private and informal, not public elder-type teaching
Mike distinguishes what Priscilla's teaching was from what it was not.
What it was: real doctrinal education, actual theology (not devotional sharing), correcting an important future church leader's incomplete theology. What it was not: public teaching like an elder does (they took him aside, not in the synagogue), not formal or institutional, and not connected to authority. One egalitarian scholar wrongly claimed it happened 'in the synagogue' but the text says they took him aside.
