Sye's argument from the Great Commission
Matthew 28:18 — 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore...' Sye: the commission to make disciples begins with the declaration of Christ's authority as given — not as to-be-demonstrated. Starting with Christ's authority and then going is consistent with presuppositionalism. Arguing for Christ's authority before 'going' reverses the order. Winger is skeptical this is what the verse intends for apologetics methodology.
