Deuteronomy 18:22 — false prophecy as test for identifying true vs. false prophets

Please Stop Saying Faith Is Belief Without Evidence 00:11:47 – 00:12:50

Mike's second Old Testament example showing God requires verification before demanding belief.

Deuteronomy 18:22 says if a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord and the thing does not come to pass, that prophet is not from God and should not be feared. Mike uses this to show that even prophets must provide verifiable evidence (fulfilled prediction) before demanding trust. He applies this to the Jehovah's Witnesses: because the Watchtower organization has made false prophecies, it fails this test.
