Q&A: Can Satan, as a non-omnipotent being, put thoughts into people's minds?

Please Stop Saying Faith Is Belief Without Evidence 00:48:32 – 00:50:04

Viewer question from Joy Chintons.

Mike cites John 13:2 (or 13:27): 'Satan had put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot to betray Jesus.' This indicates Satan has some form of access to human thought or at least the ability to implant ideas/suggestions — analogized to how audio gives Mike access to the listener's mind through a non-physical medium. Mike says this does not necessarily mean Satan can read minds; the passage shows he can send thoughts or suggestions. Satan's primary tactic is exploiting a person's own sinful tendencies.
