John 3:13 — "No one has ascended" does not necessarily contradict Elijah's translation

Mike reads John 3:13: "No one has ascended into heaven except he who descended from heaven, the Son of Man." His tentative interpretation: Jesus is claiming unique authority — no human has gone up to heaven and come back to deliver authoritative truth the way he has. Moses went up a mountain and came down; Elijah was taken up but did not return to deliver further revelation. The verse establishes Jesus's singular authority, not a universal claim about all heavenly transit. Mike admits he feels there is more to say but cannot recall it fully.
