Slain in the Spirit is unbiblical; drunk/slain/shaking in the Spirit are all contrary to "self-control" as fruit of the Spirit.

Continuing the critique of charismatic practices.

Galatians 5:22-23 lists self-control as a fruit of the Spirit. Being slain in the Spirit, drunk in the Spirit, shaking and twitching — all involve losing control of the body, which is specifically contrary to the fruit of the Spirit. These practices turn the work of the Spirit into primarily producing spiritual highs rather than making people more like Jesus (loving husbands, godly persons, etc.).
