Bauckham reevaluated examples but brought no new counter-evidence

Were Women Apostles in the New Testament? Women in Ministry part 5 00:40:16 – 00:40:47

Mike notes a limitation in Bauckham's rebuttal.

Bauckham reinterpreted many of Burer and Wallace's examples, arguing they mishandled the data. He also invoked the church fathers' agreement that Junia was an apostle. However, he did not bring any new counter-examples or conduct his own independent survey of the literature. His key complaint was that evidence was kept back.
