1 Corinthians 9:5 implies all apostles were male with wives who were not apostles

Were Women Apostles in the New Testament? Women in Ministry part 5 01:08:23 – 01:09:26

Mike cites a passage he thinks is overlooked in this debate.

Paul writes: 'Do we have no right to take along a believing wife, as do the other apostles, the brothers of the Lord, and Cephas?' This implies: (1) the other apostles were all male (they took along wives); (2) the apostles' wives, though they traveled with them, are not called apostles themselves. The wives presumably had ministry roles but were not given the apostle title.
