Response to audience question about non-Jews identifying as Messianic

Winger says "messianic" simply means believing in the Messiah. In the biblical sense, every Christian is messianic. "Messianic Jew" is a coherent and meaningful designation for a Jewish person who comes to Christ. He prefers the term "completed Jew." He does not object to terminology as long as it does not carry unbiblical theological freight.
