Acts 15:6-11 -- Peter's speech at the Jerusalem Council: God made no distinction between Jew and Gentile, cleansing their hearts by faith; why put on them a yoke their fathers could not bear? Salvation is by grace alone.

Peter recalls the Cornelius episode as the precedent. He argues the Holy Spirit was given to Gentiles just as to Jews with no distinction. The law is called a yoke that Israel itself could not bear. Salvation is through the grace of the Lord Jesus the same way for both groups.
