Galatians 4:4-5 — Jesus was born "under the law" to redeem those under it; proves the phrase means Law of Moses, not mastery of sin
Surveying Pauline uses — sixth instance, highly significant
Galatians 4:4-5: "God sent forth his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law." If "under the law" meant "under the mastery of sin," then Jesus was under the mastery of sin — which is impossible. This passage alone proves that "under the law" cannot mean what 119 Ministries claims. Jesus was under the Law of Moses, not under sin's dominion.
