Winger challenges anyone defending limited atonement to find a single New Testament verse where kosmos clearly refers to the elect. He cites D.A. Carson — a respected Calvinist scholar — as acknowledging that kosmos never means the elect anywhere in Scripture. This strengthens the case that 'world' in atonement passages means all of humanity.
