The article assumes prophecy and knowledge = inscripturated revelation but never defends this assumption. Counter-evidence: Agabus prophesied a famine (Acts 11) — a practical prediction, not Scripture; the prophets at Antioch — nothing they said was recorded; Philip's four prophesying daughters (Acts 21:9) — no record of what they prophesied. If the gifts were all about inscripturation, then large amounts of Scripture would have been lost, which is a reductio ad absurdum of the position.
