Objection 1 stated: Trinitarian harmony in the atonement

Responding to Calvinist Arguments for Limited Atonement 00:05:12 – 00:06:14

Mike explains the Calvinist argument that Trinitarian harmony requires limited atonement.

The Father elects only certain people; the Son saves only those people; the Spirit regenerates only those people. If Jesus died for all people while the Father elected only some, this creates conflict within the Trinity. Therefore, for the sake of Trinitarian harmony, Jesus could only have died for the elect.
