2 Peter 2:1 — false teachers "bought" by the master yet will face swift destruction
Mike uses 2 Peter 2:1 to show Christ purchased those who ultimately perish.
"False teachers... even denying the master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction" (2 Pet 2:1). These are people who were purchased by Christ's sacrifice yet will not be saved. This passage supports the idea that Christ's atonement was made on behalf of those who ultimately reject him.
