Distinguishing human wrath from God's wrath: selfishness vs. holiness

Human wrath is often rooted in selfishness and tends toward sin. Mike references James 1:20 ('the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God') and Ephesians 4:26 ('be angry and do not sin') to show that human anger is dangerous — not because anger itself is sinful, but because we tend to sin in it. The danger in God's wrath is not that He will sin, but that our sin has provoked it.
