Positional 'in Christ' removes believers from the domain of God's wrath
Mike clarifies how believers relate to divine wrath in light of the question about prosperity gospel preachers.
When a person is positionally 'in Christ' (as developed in Ephesians 1-3), the wrath that was owed to them has been dealt with through propitiation. Believers are no longer children of wrath. Outside of Christ, people are storing up wrath for the Day of Judgment. Inside Christ, all of that wrath is resolved. This is not a diminishment of wrath but its proper resolution through the atonement.
