Slogan 2: "Jesus is the only way — how arrogant" — two analogies: wrong road and cancer doctor

Analogy 1: If someone gives you the only road to a desert destination, it is not arrogant or rude to tell you that is the only road. Getting angry at the directions does not change the geography. Analogy 2: A cancer patient's friends suggest broccoli, sleep, and meditation while the doctor recommends a specific chemo-and-surgery plan. If the doctor caves to social pressure and says "sure, try all those other options," he is the worst doctor imaginable — because he knows the real way and withholds it. The accusation of arrogance applies equally to the pluralist: everyone who holds any view thinks they are right and those who disagree are wrong. That is not arrogance; that is called having an opinion.
