MacArthur writes: 'Women may have the gift of prophecy, as did Philip's four daughters, but they are normally not to prophesy in the meetings of the church where men are present.' Mike says this view would genuinely limit the work of the Spirit using a rule God has not given, based entirely on 1 Corinthians 14:34 taken out of context.
