Prophecy is NOT teaching — the Bible consistently keeps them in separate categories

Prophecy may involve elements of teaching, and teaching may involve sharing content from prophecies, but the Bible consistently maintains separate categories for prophecy and teaching. This distinction exists for good reason. Prophecy is not the same as teaching in an elder role. Mike rejects the egalitarian leap: if you can prophesy, you can teach; if you can teach, you can be an elder.
