The absence of a universal prescriptive statement is the key problem with the tongues-salvation argument

Mike argues that what is needed to establish tongues as a salvation requirement is a statement like "every Christian will speak in tongues." No such statement exists in the Bible. The three Acts examples are descriptive, not prescriptive.
