Jesus mentions tithing twice but always speaking to Jews under the law; this cannot be extended to Gentile Christians

Nowhere in the NT is tithing affirmed for non-Jewish Christians. Jesus affirmed tithing in his conversations, but he was almost always speaking to Jews who were still under the Mosaic law. This context makes his affirmations inapplicable as a command to Gentile believers.
