Sinning in dreams: only requires repentance if you yielded your will to it in the dream; involuntary dream content is not sin

20 Questions with Pastor Mike (Episode 6) 00:25:30 – 00:26:01

Question from Christian Liang about whether to repent for sins committed in dreams

The key moral category is will. If something sinful happened in the dream without your involvement or yielding of your will, it is something to recover from, not repent of. If you in the dream consciously yielded your heart/will to the wicked thing, repentance is appropriate. Mike says the difference is usually not hard to identify from one's own experience.
