Biblical basis for celebrating holidays — God gave Israel feast days; Jesus attended Hanukkah

Two-part argument: (1) God instituted feast days and holidays for Israel in the Old Testament. (2) In the inter-testamental period, Hanukkah (Feast of Dedication) arose and Jesus appears to attend it in John's Gospel — celebrating a non-God-commanded holiday that commemorated God's great work.
