Video summary — Argument 3: Universal priesthood is true but priesthood is not the only factor in eldership
Summary of the universal priesthood argument.
All believers are priests, but priesthood is not sufficient for eldership. There are additional qualifications. Mike also pushes back on complementarians: men should stop saying they are the priests of their home. Women are also priests and leaders in their homes, but within a correct biblical hierarchy. Nobody mediates between Christians and God — there is no NT equivalent to a priestly mediating role in the church.
