Women can have gifts of teaching and leadership and should use them, but should find expression of those gifts outside the role of elder. The Bible seems to very clearly indicate eldership is only for men and gives numerous reasons why. Nothing in these five arguments refutes the basic idea that only men can be elders, at least outside extreme circumstances.
