Christians should not use political grievances as justification for storming government or causing violence

Applying John 18:36 directly: trying to establish a governmental kingdom through force or violence is not something Jesus endorses. Christians on neither side of the aisle should use the name of Christ to justify violent political action. Jesus told Peter to put away his sword.
