Those who lived before Christ or never heard the gospel can still be saved — through faith in the true God, ultimately through Christ

Old Testament saints like Abraham and Naaman responded in faith to the true God without full knowledge of the gospel. They were saved through Christ even without knowing that name — as the fog of partial revelation clears, they will recognize it was Christ all along. This is not universalism and does not endorse false religions. Participation in false religion is evidence of rejecting God's revelation, not responding to it.
