Thinking a rule is dumb or inconvenient is not a legitimate biblical basis for civil disobedience. However, there can come a level of oppression where drawing the line is appropriate — some are already drawing it at being forbidden to pray for sick neighbors or gather as a church. Mike declines to be the authority on where that line is for everyone. He honors different consciences on the matter. His main concern remains the division caused by Christians judging each other on these issues.
