Q2: Do we have free will? Mike asserts strong yes — biblically, intuitively, and philosophically supported

20 Questions with Pastor Mike (Episode 22) 00:06:07 – 00:08:40

Viewer Lace Buck Corny asks about free will, sovereignty, and whether punishment is just if we lack free will.

Mike says he is firmly in the free will camp. He points to Genesis 4 — God's warning to Cain that sin is crouching at the door and that Cain 'must rule over it' — as clear biblical evidence that real choice exists after the Fall. He distinguishes Calvinist partial free will (free in everyday choices, not in receiving the gospel) from the broader free will question.
