Having a disorder does not excuse sin — personal responsibility is always preserved
Even if ADHD is neurologically real, it cannot become an excuse to sin.
When a person sins, it is their fault — someone else may have contributed or triggered it, but they are responsible for yielding to it. If ADHD is legitimate, the counsel is: you may have a harder time paying attention, but that does not give you permission to sin. Mike analogizes from his own poor memory: it means he has to work harder (take notes, re-study content), not that he has an excuse to do poorly. ADHD means you have to work harder at things, not that you have an excuse to shirk responsibilities.
