Mike challenges why leadership over men specifically is required to exercise higher rational capacities. He notes Groothuis does not require people to actually exercise leadership, just to have the potential/opportunity. He finds this confused and gives the counterexample that anyone who dies in childhood has unexpressed capacities without being less human.
