Christians are delivered from Satan's kingdom but remain in an ongoing spiritual battle; kingdom transfer does not eliminate all Satanic influence.
Continued Q2 discussion on Colossians 1:13 and Acts 26:18.
Mike explains Colossians 1:13 ("delivered from the domain of darkness, transferred to the kingdom of his beloved Son") in terms of kingdom allegiance and will: in Satan's kingdom one is blind to the gospel, under condemnation, and subject to his control. Transfer means no longer part of that corporate kingdom. However, this does not mean Satan has zero influence on a believer's life. He references 2 Corinthians 2:10-11 ("lest Satan outwit us; we are not ignorant of his designs") as evidence of ongoing ecclesial struggle with Satan's schemes. He uses a military analogy: attributing actions to Biden even though soldiers perform them — Satan as commander-in-chief of opposition forces. He also notes Ephesians 6 armor of God passage as evidence Christians remain in active battle.
